About Mimran Schur Pictures

Mimran Schur Pictures, an independent production company, was co-founded by Jordan Schur and David Mimran in early 2009 for the purpose of producing exceptional films spanning all genres.

The company's first project was STONE, a psychological thriller directed by John Curran and starring Robert De Niro, Edward Norton and Milla Jovovich. It debuted at the 2010 Toronto Film Festival and was released by Overture. MSP followed with the dark heist comedy HENRY'S CRIME, directed by Malcolm Venville and starring Keanu Reeves, Vera Farmiga and James Caan. The project also debuted at the Toronto Festival, and was released theatrically by Moving Pictures. MSP's most recent production, WARRIOR, was co-financed with Lionsgate and has elicited praise for its gritty portrayal of a broken family who take their frustrations out in the cage fighting ring. The action drama stars Tom Hardy, Joel Edgerton, Jennifer Morrison and Nick Nolte, who received an Oscar nomination for his portrayal of an alcoholic former champion.

MSP produced the upcoming RAPTUREPALOOZA, which is co-financed with Lionsgate and will be released later this year. The comedy stars Craig Robinson, Anna Kendrick, Ken Jeong, John Francis Daley and Rob Corddry. MSP is currently in pre-production on the quirky ensemble comedy, PAWN SHOP CHRONICLES, directed by Wayne Kramer (THE COOLER, RUNNING SCARED), with a stellar ensemble cast that includes Paul Walker, Martin Lawrence, and Ving Rhames. The development slate includes the action thriller FIVE AGAINST A BULLET, written by Alex Litvak, produced in partnership with Sony Pictures and set to star Bruce Willis, and REVENGE WEDDING, a comedy about a woman who vows to ruin her own wedding when she discovers her fiance is cheating on her. The script is by acclaimed British writer Andrew O'Connor.
